OVERVIEW

Social Investment Business (SIB) is a UK registered charity and trading company that offers loans, grants and strategic support to charities and social enterprises to help them improve people’s lives.

THE CHALLENGE

SIB wanted a newer modern looking website to engage their audience and convey the value SIB can bring to an organisation. They wanted a website which they can fully control using a Content Management System where they could add, modify and remove content, as well as pull in social media feeds and other third party content.

OUR APPROACH

We integrated their website with the TYPO3 CMS opening up many possibilities for creating rich content. With the CMS, SIB was able to author news, blog pages and media packs mixed and matched with various media ranging from images to videos and PDFs, each with a customisable layout. We also built a newsletter subscription service to update subscribers with new information regarding SIB's work. The newsletter functionality provided various stats such as clicked links and TYPO3 CMS also allowed SIB to author various forms ranging from grant applications to surveys.

Result

SIB were able to create content with ease allowing them to cut down on support costs and focus their web budget on other ventures. Their web traffic retention increased by consistently publishing valuable information for their audience.
