OVERVIEW

Rainbow Tours is a tour operator offering quality tailor-made holidays and group travel throughout Africa and Latin America and are proud to be the UK’s leading tour operator to Madagascar.

THE CHALLENGE

Holiday makers want to browse packages according to various criteria ranging from country of destination, holiday types (safari, adventure, culture, honeymoons and many others), time of year and prices. This offered a unique challenge for the site's information architecture and user experience.

OUR APPROACH

Using TYPO3, we built a database of holiday packages breaking down all the information into searchable and taggable criteria. With this approach, we were able to offer customers various listings while maintaining a consistent information. With the power of TYPO3, Rainbow Tours were able to customise each holiday package's presentation on the website. To add a personal touch, the site offers a section for holiday makers to submit their holiday experience and photos.

Result

Rainbow Tours were able to take much greater control over their website content, reacting to market changes and promoting content to the customers with ease.
